Layer upgrade and fixups

Davide Cardillo requested to merge davc/upgrade into kirkstone

Add this layer as default layer to use together the others, when a IMX-based board is used. In this way we are able to use additional packages that are going to be added at the time into images of seco-edgehog-embedded layer.
