Change usb_get_configuration() so that it is more tolerant to devices with bad configuration descriptors (it'll make it ignore configurations that fail to load). Signed-off-by:

This lets us remove a lot of code in the drivers that were all checking the same thing. It also found some bugs in a few of the drivers, which has been fixed up. Signed-off-by:

This patch (as592) makes a few small improvements to the way device strings are handled, and it fixes some bugs in a couple of other sysfs attribute routines. (Look at show_configuration_string() to see what I mean.) Signed-off-by:

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
